Why we made the Short Finger Gloves

When our tried & true glove design began making it’s way to the drop-bar world, we started to see more and more people chop their long-finger HANDUP gloves up to create short finger gloves for themselves. Of course, to prevent the destruction of perfectly good HANDUP gloves, we began chopping the fingers off ourselves. While we were at it, we added a slightly stretchier & lighter top to offer maximum comfort during long days in the saddle.

We made HANDUP Shorties because those that love short finger gloves were making them already. That’s how much people love the Original HANDUP glove design!

The Photo Doesn’t Do Them Justice

Fit great. Look great. Work great.
I’m a roadie. I know that’s not your target customer, but I wanted unpadded gloves, that were brightly colored. Padded gloves are overkill, and I think drivers see bright colored gloves & me better.
I’m not a tie-dye guy, but the other patterns didn’t suit me either. Glad I got these. They look so much better than in the picture. I love them!
I still wish you made a short-finger glove in fluoro. But as the man said: You can’t always get what you, but you get what you need. I will definitely buy them again, and some of your other cool stuff.
